HIB Foundation Hosts Career Iftar and Mentorship Program Across Universities to Prepare Students for Life Beyond Campus

As part of its Ramadan Project 2026, the Halymah Ibrahim Babangida (HIB) Foundation organized a series of Career Iftar and Mentorship Programs across five universities, creating spaces for students to connect, reflect, learn, and prepare for life beyond graduation.

The initiative, themed “Nourishing Faith, Shaping Futures,” brought together students from different institutions for special iftar gatherings combined with mentorship and career development sessions focused on personal growth, purpose, and professional readiness.

The mentorship session centered on the topic:

“From Campus to Career: Preparing Before Graduation.”

For many students, the gathering was more than an iftar program; it became a space for encouragement, meaningful conversation, and reassurance about the future during a period where many young people face uncertainty about career paths and opportunities after graduation.

“Young people need more than academic success; they need guidance, support, and spaces that prepare them for life beyond the classroom. Through this program, we wanted students to leave feeling inspired, supported, and more confident about their future.”
— Founder, Halymah Ibrahim Babangida Foundation

The Career Iftar initiative reflects the Foundation’s growing commitment to youth development, mentorship, and educational support, while also creating opportunities for community building and meaningful engagement among students.
