HIB Foundation Brings Hope and Opportunity to Bida Community

The Halymah Ibrahim Babangida (HIB) Foundation has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to humanity by bringing renewed hope to families in Bida Community, Niger State. Through a life-changing outreach focused on mobility support, economic empowerment, and educational advancement, the Foundation has touched lives in ways that go beyond material gifts, restoring dignity, creating opportunities, and investing in the community’s future.

As the Qur’an reminds us: “The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills.” (Qur’an 2:261)

• 2 wheelchairs to improve mobility and independence
• 10 freezers and 10 generators to support small business growth
• 5 grinding machines and 5 sewing machines to promote sustainable livelihoods
• 30 JAMB registrations and 30 WAEC sponsorships to support students pursuing higher education

Another beneficiary who received a freezer noted: “With this freezer, I can expand my business and preserve goods for longer. This means more profit and less waste.”

As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once advised a man who came asking for charity: “Go and buy an axe, and gather firewood, and sell it.
