As part of its Ramadan Project 2026, the Halymah Ibrahim Babangida (HIB) Foundation has continued to expand its community feeding centers across Niger State, providing daily meals and support to thousands of fasting individuals throughout the holy month.
Across multiple feeding locations, each center serves an average of 1,000 people daily, creating reliable spaces where individuals and families can gather to receive meals, break their fast, and experience a sense of community during Ramadan.
The feeding centers include locations such as Kutchazi Feeding Spot, Madadun Iftar Group, Butu Communities, and university communities, where volunteers and community partners work daily to prepare and distribute meals to beneficiaries.
For many residents, students, travelers, laborers, and vulnerable families, these feeding spots have become more than distribution points. They have become places of comfort, connection, and relief during a challenging economic period.
As sunset approaches each evening, long queues form across the various locations, with people arriving patiently to receive meals for iftar. In many communities, the initiative has helped ease the burden on families struggling to provide daily meals during Ramadan.
